Our current technical staff includes…

Joseph Wilson
Joe is the owner of the company. Joe is a Senior Certified Ecologist of the Ecological Society of America, Professional Wetland Scientist of the Society of Wetland Scientists, and a Professional Wetland Delineator (as recognized by the Commonwealth of Virginia). Joe is also recognized as a Pennsylvania Qualified Botanist and possesses a PA Wild Plant Management Permit. Joe has been consulting since the mid-1990s and specializes in a variety of ecological studies and associated permitting.

Daniel Hanes
Dan is our Water Quality Technician. Dan is a Naturalist who has been involved in terrestrial and aquatic biology most of his life. Dan provides water quality sampling and monitoring services for our clients and also assists with GPS surveying and biological inventorying.

Katie Staudenmeier
Katie is one of our Junior Ecologists. She has education in Biology with a focus on Environmental Science and is responsible for performing E&S inspections, water quality monitoring, and assisting in wetland identifications and delineations and rare species surveys.

Jennifer Jones
Jenn is a Junior Ecologist/Environmental Technician. She has an education in Wildlife and Fisheries Science and is responsible for environmental permitting, technical writing, and assisting in wetland identifications and delineations and rare species surveys.

Non-Technical Staff
Wilson Ecological Consulting has several Non-Technical Staff members who provide a variety of services. Many of these are college interns who assist with technical field studies while others provide administrative and permitting assistance.
